Course Summary:
This half day online course  will enable learners to  understand what  hate crimes / incidents are, how it manifests itself, who it effects, relevant legislation & case law, how to respond appropriately, risk assessing, and agency roles

Course objectives:
Successful completion of this course will allow delegates to:

  • Develop a sound understanding of what hate crime / incidents are and who they effect.
  • Understand the techniques and skills required to manage reports of hate crime / incidents effectively and appropriately
  • Utilise the appropriate tools and methods to respond to reports of hate crimes / incidents
  • Competently and professionally support victims and witnesses throughout the case
  • Understand agency roles, agency tools and the importance of a multi agency approach
