ASB Awareness Week 2025 leads national efforts to drive community safety and tackle anti-social behaviour
Once again Resolve is raising the profile of safety in our neighbourhoods with the launch of ASB Awareness Week 2025, which runs from 30 June to 6 July. Resolve will be working with organisations across the UK to focus on ASB awareness and this important national campaign allows Resolve and the wider community to take a stand against anti-social behaviour (ASB) and promote safer communities. There are also a daily series of ASB webinars being held with a key focus on different areas.
Resolve has been UK’s leading organisation on community safety for the last 30 years. This awareness week is backed by Resolve members, HM Government, the Local Government Association and key partners including the National Police Chiefs’ Council, National Fire Chiefs’ Council, Historic England, Neighbourhood Watch, the Premier League Charitable Fund, Association of Police and Crime Commissioners and other wider stakeholders.
Now in its fifth year, the week focuses on:
- The impact of ASB on victims and communities
- The support available to those affected
- The importance of partnership working, bringing together councils, housing associations, police, charities, youth organisations and community groups, reflecting the fact that everyone has a role in tackling ASB
Resolve’s members are marking the week with different ASB awareness events, all highlighting their commitment to addressing ASB and the importance of empowering local people and wider communities. Our latest survey commission by YouGov will be released on 30 June as a key part of the week.
Rebecca Bryant OBE, Chief Executive of Resolve, noted, "Our recent data highlights that ASB is not low-level as it devastates lives and communities. We must do better in supporting victims, ensuring swift justice and fostering safer neighbourhoods. ASB Awareness Week 2025 is a crucial opportunity to drive change, strengthen partnerships and make it clear that no one should have to endure this kind of harm in silence.”
If you are affected by ASB, you can report it to your local council’s ASB team or call the police if you are in immediate danger. You do not have to suffer in silence and there is help and support available.
