This session focuses on strategies to confidently manage Mental Health & Complex needs in ASB cases.

Led by an experienced solicitor, who has practical experience of dealing with social housing cases involving the Equality Act 2010, we aim to explore:

• Why proportionate policy and decision-making practices are for the everyday and not just for justification?

• The Equality Act 2010 – when protected characteristics may arise?
• Proportionality assessments and justification.

Housing professionals will gain practical knowledge of how to confidently manage any arising complex needs of both tenants and victims of ASB in housing management cases.
