#TGH: Closure Powers
The Crime and Policing Bill proposes to broaden powers for dealing with specific crimes and tackling anti-social behaviour. Notably one of the most significant proposed changes is enhanced powers for Closure Orders. The Bill is set to enable registered providers of social housing to seek such orders and close premises they own or manage with associated nuisance and disorder. This new power will add to a social landlords toolkit for tackling anti-social behaviour. This webinar discusses the legal and practical implications of the proposals.
