Judging Criteria
Best Project Award - Sponsored by Stockport Homes
Overview of this award
This award is for a project or initiative demonstrating measurable improvement in reducing antisocial behaviour and increasing community confidence. The project or initiative may be specific to a certain neighbourhood or may be targeted on a particular client group or issue. For example, teams working with vulnerable witnesses, young people or troubled families; or teams that focus on local priorities such as hate crime, arson or criminal damage would all be eligible.
What the judges are looking for
All nominations should demonstrate the impact the project has had. In your entry, please describe the project, its role and objectives and its most significant achievements. Judges will be looking for both quantitative and qualitative information.
Residents and Communities Award - Sponsored by Parkguard
Overview of this award
Standing up against ASB and taking action to make your community safer requires exceptional courage. This award recognises the bravery and commitment of an individual or a group of local residents who have taken a personal stand against antisocial behaviour.
What the judges are looking for
Applications should outline what the problem was that prompted the individual/group to take action, what action has been taken and by who. Judges want to know about any positive outcomes that have resulted from the actions of the individual or group.
Team of the Year Award - Sponsored by REACT
Overview of this award
This award is for a group or a team that has provided an exceptional service when resolving antisocial behaviour within an identified neighbourhood. The team may be located within a single organisation or perhaps it is a collection of individuals from a range of local agencies and/or from the community.
What the judges are looking for
Judges are looking for a team that has worked together to achieve shared goals and can demonstrate measurable results. Nominations should outline the makeup of the team, its role, objectives and the positive outcomes it has achieved. They should also show, where applicable, how the team has worked with residents to develop and deliver the service.
Practitioner of the Year Award - Sponsored by RESOLVE
Overview of this award
This award seeks to acknowledge an employee who has gone the extra mile; somebody who has demonstrated exceptional commitment to resolving antisocial behaviour, producing positive results for community safety and who serves as an inspiration for other practitioners.
What the judges are looking for
Judges are looking for somebody who has been innovative, someone who has been creative or someone that has simply been determined and fully committed to their goal. When making a nomination, please be sure to list their achievements and the qualities that make this person deserving of Practitioner of the Year. The strongest nominations will back this up with testimonials from others.

Judging is carried out by an awards panel.
The panel will make the awards based on the information provided in each of the nominations received.
