Resolve is a Centre of Excellence solely focused upon community safety and antisocial behaviour (ASB) who strongly advocate that community safety issues and ASB can be tackled effectively and everyone has a right to feel safe. ASB should be treated as a priority, it is not low level and is a precursor to serious crime.
2020 marks our 25th year in business and it is our mission is to professionalise the sector by helping organisations to effectively deal with community safety and ASB issues through training, support, guidance and sharing best practice.

Tackling ASB and community safety is core business for all of our members which includes social housing providers who collectively manage more than 3 million homes throughout the UK. Other members include Local Authorities who make up 25% of our membership, as well as housing law solicitors, mediation services as well as Police.
Our membership provides individuals with exclusive networking opportunities with access to over a 1000 strong practitioner networks through our member's forum, regional seminars and annual conferences. Our awards ceremony also recognises and rewards the best practice within the sector.

Rebecca Bryant
Chief Executive
Rebecca Bryant OBE, joined Resolve in October 2018 as our Chief Executive with over 15 years’ experience of working within Community Safety and having worked at Manchester City Council as the Head of Crime and Disorder.
Prior to becoming Chief Executive, Rebecca worked as a Senior Associate with Resolve for a number of years and is a well-respected Consultant within the industry possessing a broad and extensive knowledge around community safety and antisocial behaviour solutions.
Jacky Ellison
Head of Learning & Development
Jacky Ellison, our Head of Learning and Development, has worked in social housing for 26 years initially at Manchester City Council and then with a number of Housing Providers in managerial and consultancy roles in relation to Community Safety and ASB. Jacky has also tutored for Chester University on their Housing Law programme and designed and delivered training courses as an associate for Resolve.
Sharon McLoughlin
Head of Professional Practice
Sharon McLoughlin is Resolve’s Head of Professional Practice and has specialised in Nuisance & ASB for 20 years during which time she has gained extensive knowledge and experience from across the sector working for both Local Authorities and Registered Providers.
Valerie Barron-Green
Business Support Officer
Valerie has 18 years’ experience of working for several organisations including an Insurance Brokers as a PA and a Property Lettings company in an Executive Clerical and Accounting role.
At Resolve, Valerie handles all the day-to-day financial aspects of the business and administratively supports the wider Resolve team. Valerie is also always on hand to assist with member enquiries.
Fiona O’Reilly
Business Administration Officer
Fiona started at Resolve in September 2019, she brings with her a wealth of experience in office management and administration.
As Resolve’s Business Administration Officer, Fiona is responsible for a variety of tasks which ensures the smooth running of the core office functions including all administrative duties relating to Resolve training and BTEC.
