Mediation Skills Level 3 course
The Mediation Skills Training is a total of 40 hours and is the equivalent of NVQ Level 3. It is delivered using a blend of training methods to enhance the learning experience, including group and subgroup discussion and feedback, independent learning, subgroup activities and skills practice.
The dates for this course are 9:30am to 5pm on:

Workshop: Equality Act & the recent Housing Ombudsman Service Report
During this session the attendees will be guided through the recent Housing Ombudsman Service Report, ‘Spotlight on: Attitudes, respect and rights – Relationship of Equals’, focusing on vulnerabilities, reasonable adjustments, discrimination, contact restrictions and investigation allegations from an ASB perspective.
Delivered in conjuction with MSB Solicitors this training is delivered by a experienced solicitor.
Legal Training: Basics of the ASB Injunction
In conjunction with MSB Solicitors the attendees with be provided with an overview of the legal requirements and statutory framework for an ASB injunction.
Bite Size Lunch session: County Lines
In this 40 minute lunch time session attendees will be provided with an insight to County Lines and its impact on ASB, criminal activity and drugs have on communities and what legal tools are available to tackle the problem.
Bite Size Workshop: Cuckooing
This 90 minute session in association with MSB Solicitors, will explore cuckooing and its impact on people through two real case examples. We will look at it through the perspective of the person whose home has been taken over and then explore when and why legal action may prove necessary.
